If you are pursuing self-development to be rich, one of the core things that you should understand is the difference between the attitudes of a poor person and those of a rich one. Your attitude determines everything that you will do in your life. If you embrace the attitudes of rich people and avoid poor people’s despair, your effort to develop yourself to be a rich person will advance significantly. So, how do poor people’s attitudes different from their rich people’s counterparts?
Rich People Think More Positively.
Rich people generally think more positively than poor people do. This becomes manifest in all aspects of their life. Rich people think about how to stay committed with richness whereas poor people always think about how to be rich. Rich people see only opportunities to develop themselves whereas poor people see only obstacles that drag them behind. Rich people think about how to earn money whereas poor people think about how not to lose it. Rich people think about rewards whereas poor people think about risks. Rich people’s life is all about positivity. They are not afraid to lose their money if this temporary loss will lead to the opening of more and more opportunities. Poor people tend to hesitate to sacrifice their money because, for them, a loss is a loss.
Rich People Think More Resourcefully.
Poor people and rich people take care of their assets in a very different way. When poor people get money, they tend to be consumptive. When they get a surplus, they see it as an opportunity to be more consumptive. They think mostly about their social image and how to maintain it even if that means draining their money and assets. Rich people think differently. When they get a surplus, they see it as an opportunity to be more resourceful. They use their surplus to learn, to educate themselves, to start a business or to expand one, and to make something meaningful for their self-development. They may not gain a result that is as immediate as a consumptive behavior does, but the resources that they build will give them much bigger results in the future. Rich people turn a temporary loss into a more permanent gain whereas poor people prefer gaining a temporary advantage even if it leads to a permanent loss.
Rich People Think More Socially.
Rich people tend to be more social than poor people. You may think that rich people think only about money, but the fact is that rich people care about people more than they care about money. They believe that a good social relationship opens a much bigger opportunity for a long-term profit than that opened by inanimate and unconscious assets. Poor people tend to be transactional when they meet people, “I scratch your back, you scratch mine.” Rich people want to make sure that their social life grows organically and congenially because by getting a good relationship with people, they will know how to make partners and how to deal with competitions better.
