5 Practices of Rich Mindset

There is a huge difference in how different people think.

When I am saying RICH, I don’t only mean the mindset which creates wealth. It does help in creating wealth but it is only one piece of overall richness of Life.

Thinking of people with ‘RICH’ mindset is such that brings them richness of Life. On the contrary, people with poor mindset keep bringing challenges to themselves.

Let’s look at those 5 practices:

1.    Future Focused:

People with Rich mindset look at future because future is full of possibilities and opportunities. It’s not that they don’t look at past. They do look at past but only to draw learnings and lessons from there. Since they are future focused, what they need to do in the present becomes clear to them. People with poor mindset keep looking at past and with very mixed feelings.

2.    Goal Driven:

They are highly driven by Goals. Goals give them direction; goals give them focus and goals give them much needed momentum. In a Facebook Live that I was watching today, Brian Tracy was saying that goals are one of the most important success habits. Poor mindset people on the other hand are just busy not knowing what is that resulting in.

3.    Success is an Obligation:

For people with Rich mindset, success is an obligation. They strongly believe that their success can do a lot good to the world around. Their success contributes to collective prosperity. Therefore, they commit themselves and their resources to creation of success.

4.    Continuous Learner:

Rich mindset people realise the value of continuous learning. That is why they continue to invest their time, energy and money in learning. They are always on the lookout for opportunities of learning. For them, learning is the only way to stay relevant. Poor mindset people are saddled with the idea that they ‘know all’

5.    Embrace Change:

Rich mindset people embrace change as it comes. It makes it easy for them to come back in the flow. Poor mindset people resist change which consumes a lot of energy and keeps them stuck.

We all may be a mix of these.

Which of these areas do you find relevant to you where some real work may be needed?
